Boarding School for Talented Young Athletes
The ministry of the interior in Northrhein-Westfalia has deemed Gymnasium Rheindahlen a partner school in competitive sports.
The founding members of the organisational committee of the boarding school are Borussia Vfl 1900 Mönchengladbach GmbH, Hockeypark Betriebs GmbH, the City of Mönchengladbach, Stadtsportbund Mönchengladbach e.V., Gymnasium Rheindahlen, and the sponsors NVV AG and Stadtsparkasse Mönchengladbach.
The initial plans for the boarding school were launched with the foundation of the organisational committee.
The boarding school, conveniently situated in Warsteiner HockeyPark, takes pride in providing quality accommodation and academic assistance for talented young athletes in Mönchengladbach.
The qualified teachers at Gymnasium Rheindahlen and the training programme organised by Borussia Mönchengladbach offer a unique environment, in which the young athletes can excel.
The programme is also committed to seeing that the time between school and athletics is well spent. Balancing busy school and training schedules is a strenuous task. Therefore, the young athletes are provided with extra help and support to ensure academic success.
